Care home

Assisted living and care

For residents with high dependency needs

COMPASSIONATE CARE, EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY

The Kent Parks proposal includes a purpose built 70-bed care home with relevant communal facilities that allow for appropriate levels of independence including 24-hour support.

The rooms have been carefully arranged to maximise quality of living, with all rooms avoiding a north-facing aspect. Residents will benefit from access to private, south-facing gardens designed specifically for their use. The two-storey building adopts an ‘H’-shaped footprint, with stepped forms that break down its overall massing and create a more domestic scale.

  • Ground floor rooms will have access to patios via flush thresholds
  • Non-invasive smart technology will be fitted which can be upgraded after approval with resident and their family member
  • The average internal floor area is approximately 23m2
